Book Review: The Loving Dominant by John and Libby Warren
It’s been a while since I’ve picked up The Loving Dominant by John and Libby Warren, and to be honest, I never finished it. It’s time to start another book though. This book is a very good introductory book for both Doms and subs. It is written from a straight perspective, but does include some gay material too (not much though). Also, the main author is a Dominant male with some parts written by his submissive wife. So it is generally more geared towards those roles.
They cover everything from the psychology of BDSM to how to do a scene to different toys and gear. There’s even a section in the book that talks about meeting other Doms and subs and the dance that occurs when trying to find your match.
It’s a great book to get different ideas from if you have some experience. I really enjoyed the Mindfuck section. If you’re brand new to it all and taking things slow, it’s a good book to see what you can expect.
I’d recommend borrowing this book if you could. If not, it’s worth buying.
