Who’d have thought that Wikipedia of all places might have such an extensive directory of all things BDSM? They even feature directories for authors on the subject matter and publishing houses that cater to this genre. My faith in Wikipedia has been restored!
Yes Wikipedia does have some great info. Although the other “Dark” Darkside of Wikipedia is that there is no real quality control over what is posted – so tons of the wikipedia articles contain half truths, or are slanted towards some particular political viewpoint. Next time you find something you KNOW is wrong in a wikipedia article, just try and correct it . . . 9 out of ten times, the original writer will just change it back, and if you dare try and persist in your struggle for truth, the Wiki-Nazi’s will just block you from ever making any corrections – with no judge, or jury, or logic of any kind. So I’ve come to realize that though there is some good stuff on Wiki, there is also a lot of Bad information, with NO recourse for correcting it.
