If I said yes to the half dozen or more guys a day that want to chat, I'd just be shackled to my computer all day long (I know the gears are spinning, but it's really not as hot as it sounds). OK, it's cool if you want to get to know me a bit before we meet up in the next day or two. But don't be another bottom on the other side of the country or the world - with no pic and hardly any text in your profile - and expect me to have to just have a spare hour to BS with you or let you manipulate me into stroking some fantasy you have. And the thing I find most amazing is that THEY get offended when I explain this to them (nicely) and won't give them my IM info.
