maybe the travel offer is more about the adventure (and the free room and board) than the bond you two share. (?)
lol xD #flyacrossthecountry
Petrified.
yep. It’s a quick disqualifier.
It would depend on the situation. I work for an airline and when I have time, and can find an open flight, I’ll occasionally fly out of town for the day.
I actually got to meet on of my followers on a trip to Chicago. We had briefly chatted and when he saw my tweet that I was in town he replied that we should meet for lunch. It was cool meeting him, but I don’t think I would have flown up there just to meet him.
I can only think of about 5 people on Twitter that I would like to fly out to meet. They’re people that I actually interact with on there. To fly out just to meet someone I exchanged just a handful off messages with just seems desperate.
My intake on that is fairly simple…. if the guy is really interested in flying to see me, he’ll have to wait a few weeks, if I see he never actually got to talk a little further during that period… that’s because he’s more into the adventure then me. So yes, definate disqualifier afterwards.
