S&M and Pain

Recently I’ve been noticing in submissive/bottom guy’s profiles that they’ll post something like this:

Safe Words: No Means More?

It hasn’t been until recently that I’ve played with guys where when they say “No! Stop! It’s hurting!”, they actually mean “push me further”. Now, I have experienced it with some boys, but they’ll usually say “more” right after they say “Ow! No!” That type of stuff I can handle.

It was for this reason I’ve never really used safe words in the past. Most subs I’ve played with will send me verbal or non-verbal clues as to what they really want. Most of the time they don’t even realize it, but staring into their eyes, I can usually read it.

With these boys that are screaming “Stop!”, they are wanting to be forcefullypushed passed the limits they think their mind can handle. I enjoy this type of play, but it is taking me a bit to get used to.

Safe words are always good, no matter what type of kinky play you are doing. I always recommend letting the sub pick the keyword though. It must be something they can easily remember in the passion of the moment.

If they don’t have a safe word they like to use, the color system is always great to use and fairly universally accepted and preferred.
Green – Good to go. Maybe even push me further.
Yellow – Getting to be a bit too much. Either ease up or stop what’s going on right at that moment.
Red – Stop everything. It’s way top much and the scene needs to end.

Having a fallback like a safe word helps the sub fall into a space where they can be the helpless victim that’s getting used, abused, raped and tortured while still having a way out if shit hits the fan (literally or figuratively). It’s a good thing.™

Black and Green: A New Hanky

I just attended my 2nd kinky play party this past weekend hosted by some amazing guys. My first was in Dallas, Texas a few years ago. It was my hot friends @JeofPiersonXXX and @HappyFrosh (They both have blogs to linked in their twitter) that invited me to go. I know I’m not the only one that gets nervous about play parties, so I wanted to share some advice and tips with y’all if you’re invited to one.

Make sure you know at least one person decently well, but don’t plan on playing with them. It may happen, but there will likely be other guys you’ll know there.
Play parties are mostly social functions where play happens. You don’t have to play if you don’t want to. You can just talk with the people around you or watch some of the action.
Respect the scenes. If you’re in a larger dungeon especially, try to talk in the social areas. Those that are in the scene, especially the bottom, will often have a heightened sense of hearing. Also, don’t just go join a scene without a clearly indicated welcoming.
They’ll be gear there most likely, but bring anything you want. Also, try to keep it compact and don’t spread it out everywhere. There may be time for show-and-tell, but it’s not in the middle of the dungeon floor.
If you see a hot guy, talk to them and let him know you’re interested. It is a play party after all. If it’s mutual, you might be doing filthy things moments later, or you might just make a good friend.
Talk to someone knowledgeable about the space you’re playing in. Find out what the rules are, if there is any type of play encouraged or disallowed, and any other important information.
Have fun playing or socializing!

Vegans, Watersports and Sex

This past weekend (it was “this past weekend” when I started writing this post months ago) I was at a Halloween party with my friends and somehow this question popped into my head, Can you be a vegan and bottom for watersports (piss play)?

Now we talked about this at length and even brought others into the conversation. I proposed it to my twitter and Facebook followers too.

When you first think of this question it sounds like a no-brainer of “yes”, why couldn’t a vegan enjoy watersports? Well, of you’re a vegan you can consume things from animals including meat, eggs and milk.

So, then the answer is obviously “no” right? Well, what if the difference is that a person can provide consent. This gets a bit trickier. Say you’re wandering around a forest and a chicken just laid an egg and then walked away and was hit by a car. Can a vegan eat it? I’m not really sure on that one.

Now what about sex? If it is true that a vegan can’t enjoy watersports, there is no way they could bottom for fucking or cocksucking because there is some fluid exchange. Also, does this extend to kissing and saliva?

Muscle, Self-Determination and Submission

One part of my profile that a LOT of people seem to like is the “forced workouts” and “forced muscle growth”. First let me give you my definitions of them:

Forced workouts Pushing a person to do an exercise, often beyond their comfortable limits. Could include doing excessive pushups while shackled to a spreader bar and the Dom’s boot on your back pushing you down with each set, or it could be more subtlety at the gym pushing the person like a “good” gym partner.

Forced muscle growth This is an extension of forced workouts and can not be done in a single session. In addition to strict workouts, this could include a strict diet, forced steroids and potentially other supplements. The sole intention is to make the person build muscle.

I get a variety of people that will message me about these from bodybuilder muscle slaves to average guys and even chubs. I do have a problem with guys that haven’t ever set a foot in the gym, but seem to have an interest in someone forcing them to workout. Why should I make you workout if you don’t have the self-determination to do it on your own? I can accept it if you do workout, but are looking for help, or used to in the past and took a break, but to have never stepped into a gym…

The part that really gets me about this, why should I let you serve me and invest time in you if you’re not willing to have the self-respect to invest time in yourself? I do to the gym 5 times a week to be healthy and so I look good. I would be lying if I fully said it was about health; I want to look good so I can get hot guys and feel better about myself. There is also a healthy eating aspect to it too, but I’m not even going to touch that right now.

One part I can understand is the idea of submitting to a person and having them mold you into their vision. For me that would be to mold someone into a massive muscle freak. And while I understand the desire to submit because you aren’t able to do it on your own, I need a sub that has the self-determination and self-respect to take care of their own body.

If you want to get going at the gym, the first step is getting a gym membership. They key is finding a gym that is convenient to you; either on your way home from work or near your home/office. The next step is figuring out your goals and how to get there. This is going to vary for each person, but be very clear with your goals. Once you have your goals, I recommend finding a trainer. There is no problem “shopping” around for trainers until you find one that fits you and your goals. From there it’s just dedication. It can help to have a training partner, and more vital is to just make it a part of your daily routine.

It sounds like you’re submissive, but haven’t found the right person to work with you. It should take time to get to know someone and see if you want to submit to them. There may be a connection and there may not be. You might want to also explore the Dom(inant) side of things too.

The key on either side is to find mentors that can help you out, and may even train you themselves. They can be other subs or Doms. The key is that you have to get out and explore. If you are having these urges and impulses, it’s good to do your best to explore them.

As for the bottoming part of the question, you can try that apart from the kinky stuff. And being a bottom and submissive do not have to go together. You can be a Dominant bottom and a submissive top, they are just harder to find. When you do bottom, as always, I recommend playing safe and sober. It will reduce any risks that you might catch something regardless of what they tell you their status is. Never trust a person because even they might not know for sure.

New Toy Arrived: KinkLab Violet Wand

It sounds like you might be looking specifically for forums, and I don’t regularly read any like that. If you want to read more about it, check out some of the blogs I link to.

Another great option in a fairly public forum that can provide great opportunities, but still limit is to use Twitter. It’s a great place to find kinky guys and ask them questions. Feel free to start looking through my friends list for some. If you’re solely looking for information and not to hook-up Twitter can be especially good, but make sure you don’t avoid guys then because they don’t match your ideal type.

Some good places to find kinky guys to chat with and possibly hook-up with are Recon and FetishMen. FetishMen is a more recent site to come up. It is setup with more of a Facebook feel and has some great chat rooms. Also, if you have suggestions just use the contact/support link and hopefully they can help you out quickly. Recon is another site that has been around a bit longer and has a larger user-base. They recently did cut their chat rooms and their site has been lacking updates recently, but there are some knowledgeable guys there.

Those are some good places to start and maybe some readers can leave some comments with suggestions they have too.

Accepting My Inner Bear

Wow, so it’s been over a month since my last post. Sorry y’all. My goal is to post at least once a week. Start prodding me if I don’t keep to that.

I have been reluctant for a long time to accept that I’m a bear/cub. It’s mostly because when I think of bears, I think of overweight guys that may (or may not) be furry. And while that is true to some degree it’s not always true.
